We took off around noon, headed for Kraków. It's a short, 45 minute drive to the outskirts of the city where we made a pit stop at Magda's condo. Magda is an old friend of Gramma's from the U.S., who moved back to Poland permanently several years ago after retiring. She lives on the outskirts of the city where she has a lovely condo on the 4th floor. We stopped by for some tea and sandwiches before moving on to explore the city.
Kraków is a great city to wander and explore. It's also the perfect place for the boys to get their energy spent.
Pijana Wiśnia; their hot cherry wine is simply the best. Add a few drunken cherries to the cup and it's the perfect cocktail for a cold city walk.
