Babcia's Arrival - S&S Adventures

Babcia finally decided to book her flight to Poland and visit us. With only 2 months left for us here, it was now or after the summer, if we return this year. In the meantime, we made it to another appointment with a therapist for Grayson. This was his 4th visit and to be honest, I'm not sure if he's improving much. He's still walking on the tips of his feet unless he's reminded and then only for a short time he'll stop, until he forgets again. Damianek had plenty of pictures to color while we waited in the lobby during the 45 minute session.

We picked up Babcia from the airport in Kraków right as she was walking out. Due to the heavy traffic, we didn't even have to park the car to go inside to wait for her, she was already waiting for us as we pulled up. After a quick pickup, we headed to a pizza restaurant that we've been to before when we picked up uncle Filip last year. It's a short drive from the airport and their food is pretty good.

Smiles all around. The kids were very happy to see Babcia. It was a long overdue reunion.

Babcia sent this package to us about 2 months earlier and it finally arrived the day after she did.

A few days later we visited Babcia's sister, Gośia. The boys played their own game of checkers with a chess set. They made up their own rules.

Pan Romek paid us a visit and brought with him some home made spirits made with Spirytus. Pigwa, Lemon and Cherry. All equally delicious.

That weekend we headed towards Lublin to visit Sylwia's cousin, Artur. They live about 2 hours and 20 minutes from Tarnów. The boys played with their kids and we all ate some delicious food, then played some soccer outside. Then right as we were preparing to leave it started to snow.
